They say, Opportunity does not knock your door twice. The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) is providing another chance, another opportunity to the students to apply for All India Pre Medical/ Pre-Dental Test (AIPMT-2014)
AIPMT is conducted by CBSE for admission to undergraduate medical and dental courses. The exam is supposed to be held on 4th of May, 2014.The applications which were to be filled by 31st December, continue till 31st January but with an additional fine. The interested candidates can, therefore apply for the AIPMT-2014 exam by paying a late fee of Rs.100/-
Application fee:
For general candidates: Rs.1000 + Rs.1000 (late fee)
For SC/ ST/ PH candidates: Rs.550 + Rs.1000 (late fee)
AIPMT has replaced the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) in 2013.
The syllabus of AIPMT is based on Class 11th and Class 12th subjects such as Physics, Chemistry and Biology (Botany and Zoology). The exam paper consists of 180 objective type questions, out of which 45 questions are asked from each subject, i.e. physics, chemistry, botany and zoology. As a general trend, questions of this examination are based on NCERT text books.
